Charities are going through a tough time at the moment. Fundraising events have all but stopped and despite no money coming in, charities still have work to do.

Anthony Nolan have set a challenge to run 30 miles in 30 days to help them raise much needed funds. This can be completed in runs of different sizes throughout the month.

Running has been a really important way for me to stay physically and mentally as strong as possible through some tough times, so raising money for a charity close to my heart whilst doing something positive for me was a no-brainer.

To make this into a challenge, I’ll be pushing myself to run further and more often than I have before. I won’t stop if I hit the 30 mark early!

Anthony Nolan match incredible individuals willing to donate their blood stem cells or bone marrow to people who desperately need lifesaving transplants. They conduct groundbreaking research to improve the success rates of transplants and are there with support, advice and information for people with blood cancer and their families.

Both of Billie’s stem cell transplants were organised through Anthony Nolan. They have also funded several of Billie’s clinical nurse specialists and conduct vital research to improve outcomes for people with blood cancer.

Please donate what you can. I’ll post regular progress updates here.

“This is a chance to raise some money for a brilliant cause, whilst challenging myself at the same time“
